Mr Grant leads rewards across the Academy and student voice. He also oversees Year 9, working closely with their Head of Year, Ms Clarke.
Mr Grant has been a senior school leader for over 15 years, helping to ensure the schools he has worked in have attained outstanding outcomes for their children and been recognised as outstanding by Ofsted. He brings this experience of pastoral leadership to our Academy as we work to ensure every student feels part of the HLAW community and is recognised for their achievements.
Proudest moment in education: It is always exam results day. The day when the hard work of each student is rewarded. There is something very special about the day, as we know the results 24 hours in advance, and therefore know how proud that child will be when they open the envelope.
Thing I love about HLAW: Each student has a particular story and a reason why they wish to succeed. Listening to how they have got to where they are, and where they wish to get to, is always an inspiration and a motivation to me to ensure they get there.
