Year 9 Options

At Harris Lowe Academy Willesden, we want to ensure that your child makes informed decisions about the subjects they choose.

We have produced a leaflet with the key information for the options process, issued to all students and their families. The options process marks a significant point in your child's educational journey where they will begin to consider their life beyond school and realise their aspirations and life ambitions.

Parents

To help your discussions with your child:

  • Attend Year 9 Parents & Options Evening, 5th March. This will start with a presentation which provides an overview of Key Stage 4 as well as the options process, followed by an opportunity to discuss the courses in more detail with our subject teachers.
  • Read through the options leaflet with your child. Course information can be found below in our course guides.
  • Ensure that the options form is completed and returned to the academy by the deadline.

If you can't attend the Year 9 Options Evening, or have any questions regarding the options process, please contact Mr L Manandhar L.Manandhar@harrislowewillesden.org.uk or Mr S Grant S.Grant@harrislowewillesden.org.uk.
