Mrs Fresko-Brown is the Vice Principal of Harris Lowe Academy Willesden, overseeing Teaching & Learning and the curriculum.
She grew up in Croydon and studied psychology at Cambridge University, followed by a Masters in Educational Leadership from UCL Institute of Education. Mrs Fresko-Brown trained through Teach First, teaching English first at the London Academy in Edgware, then moving on to be Assistant Principal at Northwood School, at the same time as starting a family. She has been at our academy since 2022 and loves that she can cycle to work and see students and colleagues along the way.
Proudest moment in education: Seeing students open their exam results, especially those who have done phenomenally well with all 8s and 9s or all A*s, but also those who have been on a ‘journey’ and made so much progress from their starting points.
Thing I love the most about HLAW: The personalities of the students – their curiosity, friendliness, and the way they support each other.
