For admissions into next year’s Year 7 (2026), parents and carers are required to complete an online application form (known as the “Common Application Form” - CAF) which can be found here.
No applications direct to the Academy can be accepted.

September 2026 admissions to Year 7
The Academy works to the common admissions timetable agreed by Brent Council.
The key dates are:
- 1st September 2025 - Applications for Year 7 places in September 2026 opens on www.eadmissions.org.uk.
- 31st October 2025 - Closing date for applications for Year 7 places in September 2026.
- 2nd March 2026 - National Offer Day. The Local Authority notifies parents about successful applications to secondary school.
- 30th March 2026 - Closing date for appeals for primary to secondary transfer. Appeals must be made by 4pm on the closing day. Appeals will be heard in May/June 2026.
Applications received after 31 October 2025 will be considered as 'late' and will not be considered until the second round of offers.
Your right to appeal
We are incredibly popular, with over 400 applications for our 180 places. We expect and encourage families to appeal if you are unsuccessful in gaining a place for your child at Harris Lowe Academy Willesden through the Year 7 application process. We are happy to guide you through this process.
Parent(s) wishing to appeal against the Admission Authority decision should complete an appeal form stating the reason for the appeal based on the published admissions criteria. The appeal form and guidance notes for appeals can be downloaded at the bottom of the page.
For admissions to Year 7 in September 2026, the closing date for appeals for primary to secondary transfer is 30th March 2026. Appeals must be made by 4pm on the closing day. Appeals will be heard in May/June 2026.

The appeals will be heard over Zoom by an Independent Appeal Panel.
- Appeals may be made in English or the parents’/carers’ first language.
- Only one appeal per application is allowed.
- Appeals are conducted over Zoom, and you may have a friend with you in the call.
